Shipping, Returns

Everything you need before and after an order. Written plainly. For anything not answered here, write to us and a person replies.

Shipping & Quality Control

Every piece is inspected by hand before it leaves the warehouse — seams, stitch density, print placement, hardware and wash are checked against the house standard. A garment that does not pass is pulled and replaced rather than shipped.

Because of that inspection, we ship deliberately rather than quickly. Orders are dispatched within 5–7 business days, and delivery follows in 5–10 business days after dispatch. Most orders arrive within two to three weeks of purchase.

Standard domestic shipping is a flat USD 7 at checkout. International shipping is arranged on request — write to trev@optimism.fashion before ordering and we will confirm rates and timing.

OPTIMISM. is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather or customs processing.

Track Your Order

A confirmation email is sent the moment an order is placed, and tracking follows by email as soon as the parcel leaves the studio.

Your order confirmation page doubles as a certificate of purchase and can be saved as a PDF from the link in that email.

Nothing arrived? Contact us with your order number and we will trace it.

Returns & Exchanges

Unworn pieces with tags attached may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Final sale pieces and items marked Out of Stock at the time of purchase are not eligible for return.

To begin a return, write to trev@optimism.fashion with your order number. Exchanges are subject to availability.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of the return arriving.

US Standard Size Guide

Every OPTIMISM. piece is cut to US standard sizing. The charts below are body measurements in inches — measure yourself, then read the fit note on the product page to know how that piece is meant to sit.

Between two sizes? Size up for a looser line, size down for a closer one.

How Our Fits Run

Tight Fit: Body-hugging with stretch. Designed to hold. Size up if you are between sizes.
Close Fit: Sits close to the body and follows your shape. Take your usual size.
True to Size: Follows the body without pulling. Take your usual US size.
Relaxed Fit: Easy through the body with room to move — not tight anywhere. Take your usual size, or size down for a trimmer line.
Oversized Fit: Generous through the body and shoulder for deliberate volume. Your usual size gives the intended look; one down reads closer.
Cropped Length: The hem sits above the natural waist. Size up if you want more coverage through the body.

Measure at the fullest point of the bust or chest, at the natural waist, and at the fullest point of the hip, with the tape level and not pulled tight.

Between sizes, or unsure on a specific piece? Ask us — we will measure the garment for you.

Care

Wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Do not bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Heat is what shortens the life of a garment more than wear does.

Cool iron on the reverse. Avoid pressing directly over printed artwork.

Privacy

We collect only what is needed to fulfill an order and provide service — name, email, phone number and shipping address.

We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties for marketing. Payments are handled by a secure, PCI-compliant processor; card details never touch our servers.

Data is stored encrypted at rest and transmitted over TLS. You may request deletion at any time by writing to us.

By using optimism.fashion you agree to these terms. All content — photography, copy, design and branding — is the intellectual property of OPTIMISM. and may not be reproduced without written consent.

Prices are listed in USD and may change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel an order in the case of a pricing error, suspected fraud or an inventory discrepancy, with a full refund.

Collections are produced in limited runs for the season and are not restocked once complete.

This site is built to be usable with a keyboard and a screen reader, honors reduced-motion settings and aims to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast.
